  • ·         To demonstrate the effects of drugs and alcohol
  • ·         Not to stereotype males in the way that we usually would
  • ·         To demonstrate same sex relationships so society is more open to them
  • ·         To challenge stereotypes of gender
  • ·         Shows women and men can act the same
  • ·         We assume men are more violent and more likely to take drugs than women
  • ·         To show the negative effect of drugs and alcohol and that it is not just women that fall victim to violence

  • ·         I don’t like how they have challenged the stereotype of women
  • ·         It was too extreme but was relatively true to life
  • ·         Awful to watch, as a female I wouldn’t want to be treated like that
  • ·         It was the drugs that made people act like that
  • ·         It shows the impact of drugs but in an exaggerated way
  • ·         People shouldn’t do drugs while drinking, don’t agree with the fighting
  • ·         Agree with how the drugs were shown to make the person feel, I don’t agree with the way women have been treated in the video
  • ·         The video is honest but don’t agree with the behavior it promotes
  • ·         The video is being controversial like the band don’t agree with the extreme behavior

  • ·         People might be against drugs, drinking, sex, drink driving and strip clubs
  • ·         Stereotypes women into only being for sex
  • ·         A women wouldn’t start a fight with every man in a club
  • ·         Might not agree with the text because of religion, the audience might be homophobic and they might be against drugs and alcohol
  • ·         They see the product as immoral
  • ·         They chose to believe it is a man so then disregard the text
  • ·         People wouldn’t want their children to see it because it sets a bad example
  • ·         Offensive to a number of people in society
  • ·         The audience would reject it because it makes them uncomfortable so then turn it off and they cant associate with it on a personal level
  • ·         Don’t have experience of the intended effects
  • ·         It might be condoning alcohol and drugs
  • ·         Find the product offensive
